Sridevi passes away in Dubai at the age of 54

Sridevi passes away in suffering from heart disease. Bollywood actress Sridevi died at the wedding ceremony in Dubai. She went to the wedding ceremony with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi. Sridevi passed away at the age of 54 after suffering a heart attack in the hotel bathroom.

Returning hotel from the wedding ceremony tired actress went to the hotel bathroom for bath. But after a long break, Sridevi did not leave the bathroom. After half an hour, the water of the bathroom was overflowing into the hotel room. At the time, husband Boney Kapoor was in the hotel room. The body of the actress was recovered after breaking the bathroom door. Whole Bollywood was shocked by the sudden death of Sridevi.

The debut movie of Sridevi as a child artist is Joulie. This southern star debuted in Bollywood with ‘Salwa Sawan’ in 1978. After that Sridevi presented one by one hit picture to the audience in the box office. Notable among them are ‘Mawali’, ‘Tofha’, ‘Mr. India, ‘Chandni’, ‘Sadma’, ‘Lamhe’. She was equally well-versed in acting and classical dance. For the last four decades she has acted in various types of movies. Sridevi acted boldly in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada movies. She also starred in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Even she also equally succeeded in another type of movies. Besides, Sridevi has also made great success in small screen.

She won the Filmfare Award for ‘Nagin’, ‘Mr. India’. She had received numerous awards including total five Filmfare Awards in her Bollywood career. Actress Sridevi was honoured in the Padma Shri Award in 2013. Bollywood Industry and all fans of her pay tribute for sudden death of her to the social media.
